I was seeking out a lotion that had minimal ingredients and worked for sensitive skin, and I found this! It smells great and doesn’t make my skin have a reaction like most fragranced lotion I’ve tried. It’s definitely not thick like most lotions either, as it’s more runny but spreads pretty easily! It keeps me moisturized and it’s very nice. I would definitely recommend this product!The lotion is very thin and smells just like lavender to me (no orange) and is very strong when applied! The smell does lessen over time. The pump on mine must be defective somehow because it does not want to pump unless I push it in a very specific way. It’s not super moisturizing but works well for areas not prone to extreme dryness.I find this to be a very nice lotion. I am recovering from brain surgery and find nice scents to be very enjoyable It did little to moisturize my dry skin, but falling asleep to that lovely scent was refreshing.Goes on smooth and leaves skin feeling soft.Update: 2/9/2020 Seller (3PSeller) reached out in my comments. I did message them and again said how I did buy it some time ago but if there was anything they could do since I was encouraged to reach out. Still have not heard back, not even to say "Sorry we didn't know it had been that long".I've written it off as a loss but wanted to share my experience for you all in case it's helpful.Dec 2019: I'm giving this 3 stars because of the quality ingredients, and for the brief time it was on my hands it did feel moisturizing. But oh my gosh, the smell! Thought it would be a crisp, light citrus with a hint of floral. What I got was an assault of musty orange peel. Much to overpowering for me so I will have to give it away and try another scent -or unscented if they have one.Besides the quality ingredients, the pump works well and actually has a mess free closure (just twist slightly). No having to push down and turn and having product spurt out. I think this would be a good lotion if you get the right scent.I had previously purchased this lotion but in a different scent (patchouli/lime) and not on this site, but from a local grocery store. This product (lavender/orange) was nothing like the one I purchased from the grocery store. This lotion (lavender orange) is very thin and watery with almost no scent. It seems like they are not even from the same company or manufacturer. Makes me think the one from the Amazon site is a fake.I have been using pretty much the entire line of DB for over a year now, purchasing either in-store or through the DB website. This was the first I purchased via Amazon, and I had thought this was coming directly from DB, but it looks like the seller was “Brand Name Deals”.After about 1 week of using, I developed a horrible rash up both legs and arms. I didn’t associate this with the lotion, as I had purchased this same one from DB website and had no issues. I continued using for another week and the rash persisted, so I eventually eliminated the lotion from my routine. Rash has been clearing since…These pictures are 2 days after discontinuing, and are surprisingly less severe than what my rash had been prior to discontinuing.I’ll be purchasing DB products either in-store or via DB website moving forward.I use Dr. Bronners products all the time but this was the first time trying their lotion. Other reviewers said there was a strong smell but with other Dr. Bronners products that has never been the case so I tried the lotion anyways. I should have listened. The lotion is so fragrant it is almost unusable. It is moisturizing but since I have to wash my hands after using, I am not reaping the benefits. I bought orange lavender but I only smell the overpowering lavender. Bummer because I love this brand in most other products.I adore Dr Bronner's Organic Orange Lavender Lotion. It smells divine, yet the scent is not overpowering. It is a light and quickly absorbed lotion with no greasy after feel. It leaves my dry skin moisturised and for hours afterwards too. I use it all over my body, including my very dry feet. I find the effects amazing. The pump is easy to use and is not fiddly like some are. What I particularly like about the lotion is that it is fully organic. All of the ingredients in it are organic. I have bought so many products that claim to be organic and yet still contain some nasty ingredients. With this Dr Bronner product there is no worry about that. I feel happy and safe to be using it on my body. I am looking forward to trying other products from the Dr Bronner range!I’m always washing my hands so needed a hand cream that would keep them moisturised. This product is lovely. However it’s a little greasy when you first put it on but then my hands feel dry after half an hour - not sure how that works! That said, you only need a small amount and the bottle lasts for ages.Love this brand!The lotion itself is great, love the scent. It is quite unique and might not be to everyone's liking. The consistency of the lotion is also not necessarily as some other major brands (maybe it's just me, though) so took some time getting used to it, the first time I used it. But I've since repurchased numerous times and always been happy. Packaging is also good, easy dispensing.I love this product. It smells divine and absorbs very quickly into the skin. Not at all greasy. I also use the patchouli and lime version. I have no idesa how long the moisturisation lasts but you can't have everthing! Best thing is it can do you no harm so I highly recommend it.I loved the smell but didn’t find it as moisturising as I hoped. It is quite thin and sinks into skin so doesn’t leave residue but could have done with it being a little more moisturising.
