My Prohibition Wellness The Face Moisturizer arrived in a nicely designed brown box that contained a similarly designed glass jar with the product itself. The box shows a list of ingredients and instructions for use, but the jar does not. The product is manufactured in Canada. No dates of manufacture or expiration are shown.I am elderly and prefer a heavy moisturizer. This is that product in spades. The instructions say to apply after using treatments or serums. I tried it both with and without the serum I normally use on my face and neck. The serum enhances the moisturization, and I prefer it that way. As an elderly woman, I have earned my lines and have banked more than my share of these earnings. The combination of serum and this moisturizer actually filled in those lines, which only returned when I smiled. Otherwise, they remained mostly hidden for the entire day. I tried the moisturizer again without the serum. It still provides a heavy dose of moisture. Large amounts of product are not needed to produce this result. If I were younger, I might think of this as a night cream as opposed to a daytime moisturizer. Some people do not care for a "sticky" moisturizer. I do not refer to it as "sticky" but rather prefer heavy. That stickiness is what indicates moisture. Otherwise, it dissipates and leaves your skin dry. This product definitely provides a covering layer, leaving moisture on top of the skin. It does feel moist. That is what I want from a moisturizer and will, in the future, combine it with my serum. Together, they definitely provide superior performance when compared to my usual serum combined with other moisturizers. There is no fragrance, which I definitely prefer. Having a fragrance so close to my nose is not something I enjoy.I like this moisturizer very much for the reasons listed above. It definitely works, and I experienced no adverse effects from it. I should note that I tried it on the inside of my arm the day prior to test for allergic reactions, which is something I always do before trying products on my face. I also did not use this moisturizer in my eye area but instead used my usual eye cream.I am happy to recommend Prohibition The Face Moisturizer. It is, as I said above, an excellent, lasting moisturizer. Most moisturizers tend to dissipate as the day wears on. This one does not.
