It's hard to have a quality opinion about something like this, because who goes to the trouble of doing scientific A/B testing for a beauty product.What I know though, is:* My wife loves this, which is kind of all I really need to know* It's not too oily or fragrant, so there's nothing annoying about it* My wife's "aging management" is totally under control. You'd never guess her age.We've been together for 35 years and she's still a knockout. Her grandmother was a billion years old when I met her, and she was one of the most beautiful women I've ever met, so the deck is slightly stacked in my wife's favor. She takes great care of herself though, so I can't credit everything to her genes.So my unscientific conclusion on this product is that (a) it does no harm, and (b) it's probably helping. Honestly, I love her unconditionally and I kind of wish she wouldn't fuss with products like this one. But she does and far be it from me to complain. She's been using this for nearly a year now, so I think she's getting her money's worth.I am not a regular retinol user. My face can get pretty dry with regular retinol use, and I'd rather be comfortable most of the time. But every few months I try a retinol program. I am 42, I don't have that much for wrinkles, a few fine lines around my smile and a few by my eyes. When I was younger and used retinol I could tell that my skin looked firmer. Now after I use retinol for a month or two, I really can't tell much of a difference.This cream was no different, I really didn't see a difference. I will say my face did not dry out as much as it normally does. This is a lightweight cream, not watery. Slight perfumes smell that dissipates quickly. Moderately moisturizing. The pump works nice. I just didn't see any improvement.I found this retinol cream is easy to pump out of the container for application. It's not too thick and smoothes easily into my skin. Very little scent. That being said, I don't feel in increased the moisture greatly on my face and neck - at least not yet. Will keep using to see if there is an improvement over time.Retinol is well known to reduce wrinkles and signs of aging. Normally when you buy a retinol cream it indicates the percentage of the retinol that is used. It is important because a high percentage of retinol is more effective but also more irritating for your skin. Well I cannot find any indication of how much retinol this cream contains but it has place nine on the list of ingredients so it is probably a very small amount. The cream is easy to apply, absorbs well and is not greasy. With hyaluronic acid as the third ingredient on the list it is hydrating. It has not scent which is good. I am planning to use this cream as a day moisturizer and continue using a prescription retinol cream several nights a week.Thank you for reading this review. I hope that my comments will be helpful. ?I was looking for a product that I could specifically use around my eyes and the inclusion of retinol and hyaluronic acid is a winning combination in my opinion. I don't know how much of either of those (%) is in this product as it does not specify and it's too early in my use of this product to know how dramatic the results will be. However, I do like this product so far. The bottle is A nice size and has a convenient pump dispenser which I really like. There is no fragrance to this product and that's something else I really like. I have somewhat sensitive skin particularly around the eye area and I have had no issues at all using this product. I will continue to do so until this bottle is gone and then reevaluate at that time. As of right now, I would recommend it.this stuff is good for what it is but isn’t anything special. you can get similar results with similar products that cost around the same. it’s light enough that it absorbs quickly and it pairs well with the serum i have by them. while i enjoy using this, it doesn’t wow me enough to warrant me wanting to come back to this brand or to their products. i like it enough to want to finish the bottle, so if you’re looking for a mid priced moisturizer that’s light and absorbs well, try it out; but if you’re happy with the stuff you have, this stuff won’t sway you imo.This is a very small 1oz lotion. I say lotion as it’s more of a sheer than some of my other retinol creams and not necessarily cheaper either. I replaced this with my other retinol cream and didn’t get as the same good results which makes me think this doesn’t have much retinol in it. I switched back to my other cream. I wouldn’t reorder.
